  it was a fantastic feeling to pull on a rangers jersey again at love street yesterday and i really enjoyed the run out.
  
  i had been looking forward to the reserve game and my ankle is now as strong as it can get. i played just over an hour in our 3-0 win and it felt good so hopefully i'll get another game next week.
  
  i felt sharp but i can get sharper. i'm as fit as i can be in terms of running and my ankle won't get any stronger but match-sharpness is a totally different thing and i think i'll need two or three games before i'm up to scratch.
  
  it has been hard not playing because football is my life but i did all the rehab i was told to do.
  
  it has been frustrating watching the first team in action from the sidelines but i am almost ready to return and it will be great to play in midfield with the likes of pedro mendes, steven davis and kevin thomson again.
  
  my main aim is to get as sharp as i can and then maybe get back to start against inverness caley on saturday 1 november as the gaffer has mentioned that previously.
