• kendi whatsapp desktop app'imi yazdığım ve ekşi için de yazacağım çok tatlı hede. daha büyük çapta projelerde nasıl sonuç verir bilmiyorum ama atom editörün os x'te performansından ben pek memnun kalmadım.
• benim icin qtyi bitirmis olan cross platform framework. hasir nesir oldugum componentlari bir araya getirmisler, baya bir begendim. yalniz native tarafta calisan, yasli birisi olarak javascripte alisamiyorum. onu ne yapacagiz bilemiyorum. bir de en kucuk uygulama bile 200 mb oluyor, biraz rahatsiz edici. ama yapacak bir sey yok.

• kullanımının mantıklı olması için çok basit bir uygulama yapmıyor olmanız gereken. web tabanlı janjanlı bir şey yapacaksanız kullanın. bildiklerinizi bildiğiniz için değil, kullanımı uygun olduğu zaman kullanın.
• github tarafından oluşturulan ve desteklenen açık kaynak kodlu bir framework. skype, vs code ve slack gibi bir çok masaüstü uygulama bu framework ile yazılmıştır.
  
  electron'da main ve renderer process olmak üzere iki çeşit process vardır. package.json'daki main scripti çalıştıran process main process olarak adlandırılır. main process'te koşan script guı için web sayfaları oluşturabilir. electron uygulamalarında tam olarak bir tane main process bulunur.
  
  web sayfalarını görüntülemek için chromium kullanıldığından, chromium'un multi-process mimarisi kullanılır. her bir web sayfası kendi process'ini çalıştırır ve bunlara renderer adı verilir.
