  i arrived for the third time on the white isle on sunday september 3th 9am. about an hour later, i went with my friends to space, for the morning session of the infamous home party. dutch dj sander kleinenberg was playing and he was very, very good, so that was promising for the evening session...sasha and digweed playing together!
  
  john digweed kicked off at 11pm and set the tone for what would be a brilliant set!! at midnight the music was turned off and about 2000 people started to sing 'happy birthday' for the one and only sasha! space went totally mad when he started to play and until 4 am i heard records i couldn't imagine they existed. i think we were lucky to enjoy one of the best home parties of the whole season!
  
  on monday evening we decided to go to sven väth, the legendary german dj, in amnesia. after sasha and digweed, i thought i had already witnessed the best set during my staying on ibiza, but that was a mistake. sven väth played for 7 and a half hour, and it was astonishing: he gave one of the best dj sets i ever heard in my life: at about 6 am, he switched his techno set into the ultimate morning set: underworld, kraftwerk,knights of the jaguar...unbelievable!!
  
  i also have to mention the fantastic after-after party at bora-bora during the late afternoon and the evening, because that's what ibiza is all about: beautiful, happy people having the time of their lives.
  
  on wednesday we went to renaissance at privilege, for a line-up of nick warren, josh wink, danny howells and anthony pappa. there weren't so many people, but everyone was dancing, so it also turned out to be a very good night, especially thanks to anthony pappa in the main room. although the godskitchen afterparty in space wasn't a success, we had a lot of fun with some crazy dutch people!
  
  we went for dinner to km 5 on friday, not so well known by most of the clubbers, i guess, but i advise it to everyone. excellent food, great atmosphere and beautiful girls, all within a stylish decor. it's a pity it closes at about 6 am.
  
  one of the things you must have seen on ibiza, is the breathtaking beauty of the sunset at cafe del mar. everyone who saw it, knows what i mean, so it was perfect for a quiet saturday evening.
  
  on sunday home was celebrating his first birthday with danny teneglia and laurent garnier!! first they played separately on the terrace, than from 2am until the closing they had to play together. i arrived during the terrace session of laurent garnier, a nice set, but not so special. but than came the duo-set...it wasn't good at all!!! i'm just telling what everybody witnessed: they were both so f****d up, they couldn't play anymore. so after 2 hours almost nobody was dancing anymore and people were leaving. one moment they played pop music, 15 minutes later techno that it hurt your ears,...a night to forget as soon as possible.(not for me, because i met this beautiful argentinean girl...)
  
  monday night was our last evening at the beautiful white isle, and we went to manumission. it's a bit too expensive (7000 peseta's, no drink included!) but it was a fantastic end for a fantastic holiday, with my fantastic argentinean princess . the decoration and the show were astonishing and the dj (i had to ask -because i'm from belgium and i don't know all the english dj's- and it turned out to be alex p) so the dj played the 10.000 clubbers in a trance and everyone, really everyone just went crazy!! at 7am we took a cab to the hotel and than straight to the airport: ibiza 2000 was finished...
  
  to summarize: ibiza 2000 offered outstanding dj performances, fantastic music and beautiful, crazy people, all having the time of their lives. it's an atmosphere you will find nowhere else and only the people who have been there truly understand what i mean. see you all next year...
