  about the mission of our life?
  do we know that we're composed
  of the trinity - of heart, soul and mind?
  our dark nights only come to bright end
  when we learn -
  violence makes sick and blind!
  creation's aim and end, aspiration is to rise
  the beam of love in our mind!
  
  just think about what we call love and hate,
  we are the ones to recreate it!
  when we're sowing fear, when we lock up,
  we will reap all the tears,
  all the tears, that separate!
  punishment and pain
  is the touchstone for the gain,
  for the way, our common spirit grows!
  all our silent cries,
  our thoughts, our deeds
  will call forth what we earn,
  will arise mighty echoes!
• bu kadar güzel şarkıların sözlükte bile bu kadar az bilinmesi insanı çok şaşırtıyor. yoksa biliniyor da yazacak bir şey mi yok acaba diye düşünüyorum ama yok ulan, insan dinlerken iki kelime döktürür, öyle de güzel bir şarkı. bilgi de verelim, silent cries and mighty echoes albümünün kapanış şarkısı bu.

  ama öyle böyle bi şarkı değil. kapattığı albüme bak bi kere.
• lay lay lom diye söz yazsalar dinlenir eloy yazmışsa vardır bir hikmeti diye. ama maşallah özellikle 70'lerde yaptıkları her albüm insanlığa yeni bir manifesto zaten. hiç de sevmem böyle maneviyatın doruklarında gezinen sözleri ama eloy yapınca işte hipnotize oluyor insan. mighty echoes da böyle. özetle kelebek etkisinden ve bu gücü kullanarak şiddetten kaçıp doğruya ulaşmaktan ve sevgiyi egemen kılmaya çalışma ülküsünden bahsediyor diyebiliriz. çok naif falan kabul ama dediğim gibi bu müzikle ne deseler kabulüm.
  
  şarkının sonunda bir kadın fısıldar: baktım şimdi how will we stand the fire tomorrow dediğini iddia ediyorlar. bana da hep how many of you will stay in the fight tomorrow diyormuş gibi gelirdi genelde. o kısım sanki plak çiziği varmış gibi biraz gürültüye geliyor. neyse artık bilemeyeceğim.
  
  giriş kısmını da cem karaca'nın yorumladığı kara sevda şarkısının giriş kısmına benzetiyorum ya o da benim kuruntum olsun.
