• queens of the stone age'in yakında çıkacak olan like clockwork albümünün gün yüzüne çıktığı ilk şarkısı. şuradan izleyebilir, dinleyip coşabilirler. canlı performans olmasına rağmen ben şahsen şarkıyı çok beğendim. özellikle davulları. bir de dave grohl'un albüm kayıtlarında davulda olduğunu düşünürsek şarkı bayağı güzel olacak. yaklaşık 24 saat sonra http://www.mygodisthesun.com/ adresinden ilk yayını dinleyebilecek qotsa fanları. sabırsızlıkla bekliyoruz!

• sabahtan beri tekrar tekrar dinlediğim, 2013'ün en iyi şarkılarından biri. buram buram qotsa kokuyor, dinlerken insanda koşma isteği uynadırıyor.
• josh homme, bir röportajında şarkının temasını şu şekilde açıklamış:
  
  "josh homme: i love words and i love how they work and look like. some words are gorgeous and some aren’t. the sun is everything. you get it when you for example look at plants and they turn to it. and that is something unbelievably beautiful. and i have a son (a reference to sounding of words son/sun). it’s not an coincidence that it’s a similar word. if should be something venerated, it should start right here.

  güneş'in, iyileştirici, mistik gücünün anlatıldığı, dionysos'a karşı apollon'un tercih edildiği, metaforlarla dolu bir şarkı. karısı brody dalle ile birlikte tuhaf bi mistisizmin içine girdiler, brody de meet the fetus / oh the joy diyordu. çocuk olunca böyle oluyor demek ki.
