• 1984- brazil benzeri distopik bir gelecekte geçen rpg. tüm oyunlar alpha complex isimli yeraltı şehrinde geçer. bu devasa şehri mutlu olmayı zorunlu kılan the computer isimli şizofren ai yönetir. kurduğu sisteme zarar vereceğini düşündüğü mutantları, gizli örgüt üyelerini ve komunistleri (bkz: commie) yok etmek için troubleshooterları görevlendirir. genelde pcler troubleshooter olur. paranoia'yı paranoia yapan şey ise tüm pclerin aslında ya mutant ya gizli örgüt üyesi ya da komunist olmasıdır (tüm şehir halkı gibi). herkes birbirini öldürmeye çalışır, öldüremeselerde the computer onlardan zaten şüphelendiği için bir şekilde (komik bir şekilde) öleceklerdir. herkesin 6 klonu olması (bkz: six pack) nedeniyle ölümler pek ciddiye alınmaz. yer yer diğer rpglere laf sokması, komik kuralları ve evreniyle yaran bir oyundur. net üzerinden oynamak için; www.paranoia-live.net
