• valentine's day. ingilizcede "velıntaynın günü" anlamına gelir. 1723 rize doğumlu ahmet velıntayn, ayağındaki mantar ve koku problemi yüzünden hiç bir sosyal ortama girememiş, "hadi gel bu akşam johnson'lara gidelim süper takılırız" tekliflerini geri çevirmek zorunda kalmış bir zavallıdır. bu yüzden dilbağı çözülmüşlüklere gömülmemeye karar veren velıntayn (1741), aşkın ve şiirin şehirlerine girmiştir tur-i sina'nın yekpare kışını delen güneşle birlikte 71 yaşında (14 şubat 1794) iki çocuk ve yüzaltmışdört kadar kültür mantarını öksüz bırakarak hayata gözlerini yummuştur.
