• izlerken ben bu sahneleri daha önce görmüştüm diye mırıldanmama sabep olmustur. modern cagın getirdiği zorunluluklar, işten eve evden işe koşturan bir anne, ne kazandığı kazanmadığı belli olmayan bir baba, sevgisizlik abidesi erkek cocuk, yüzünden mutsuzluk akan şişman bir kız çocuk, üstüne üstüne geliyorlar film boyunca. böyle olmamalı,kaçacak bir yer olmalı derken babanın gerçekten kaçmaya çalıştığını bir çözüm bulmak için ağladığını görüyoruz sonra...paraya ve başarıya dayalı koşullu tahammüllerin insanı nasıl bir hiçliğe sürüklediği, evlilikleri öldürdüğünü fark ediyoruz. kapitalist sistem neden insanları mutsuz eder, neden bir çıkış yolu yoktur sorularının cevaplarına çok yakın olan film. cevap olmasa da bir farkındalığa davet olduğu kesin.

  izleyici ile iyi bir frekans yakalayan, akiskan ve akilda kalici bir film- degilde insan belgeseli izledim sanki.-
• aynı zamanda manchester city'nin 2017-18 sezonunu anlatan, 8 bölümlük belgesel. amazon prime'dan izlenebiliyor.
• mike leigh imzalı, mutluluğun ve sevginin yerini monotonluk ve mutsuzluğun almasını irdeleyen, inceden inceden sistemi eleştiren mutsuz ama katiyen kötü olmayan, hayatı anlatan film. filmin bence en güzel yanı ise, sadece phil'in ailesini değil, diğer ailelerin de gerçeklere çok yakın karakterlerden oluşmasıdır.

  dinlenildiğinde her her her şeyin, uğraşların, didinmelerin, kavgaların, çırpınmaların, hayallerin, günün, dünün ve beyin tırmalayan hayaletlerin, onca üzüldüğün ama şimdi unutulmuşların, güneşli günlerin... ne kadar boş boş boş olduğunu düşündürmek gibi bir etkisi var. kısa süre sonra geçiyor, o yüzden arka arkaya dinlemek iyi.
