• ingilizce misery'den ve fransızca facia anlamına da gelebilen misere kelimesinden gelen ve sonuç ittibariyle iki dilde de çok büyük mutsuzluğu ifade eden sıfat. türkçe karşılığı kendini bir zavallı veya öksüz gibi hissetmek.
