• panassie "caz çalmak için zenci olmak lazımdır. beyazlar caz çalamaz" diyordu. sonra ne oldu? çalarken klasiğin, bestelerken cazın etkisinde olduğunu söyleyen dave brubeck derler kar beyazı bir adam çıktı meydana.. müziğinde ilkel cazın kuvvet ve enerjisi, bartok ve millhaud'un armonik karışımları, bach'ın formları, rachmaninoff'un lirik romantizmi vardı ve hepsi yanyanaydı.
