• dün akşam yıllar süren aradan sonra hollywood palladium'da tekrardan canlı olarak çalınmış parça. (bkz: şükürler olsun)
• glam rock alemlerinin en mükemmel albümü.. içinde tek kötü şarkı barındırmaz.. gaz bir intro ile açılır.. tek hafif kaçan balladlardır.. güzel olmadıklarından değil albümün gaz doğasını soğuttuklarındandır o da.. dr feelgood dinlenir.. slice of your pie başlar.. ne güzel akustik gitarlar falan derken dünya değişir bir anda.. geçen 2 aylık sürede tekrardan delilercesine dinlediğim bu albümde sözler nerdeyse tamamen belden aşağı çalışır.. "hey pretty from accross the room, got some sticky sweet for you, order me up another slice of your pie", "when i've done good she slaps me on the ass, it takes more than ten seconds to satisfy this lass, she's so sticky sweet", "start at the bottom and lick it to the top, she goes down", "she's a sex machine, she keeps her engine hot, her motor clean", "got the rattle, snake wants to spit, call nine seven six and let my hands do the rest" gibi fantastik ifadelere rastlanabilir..
  
  ve fakat bir hısımımıza ziyarete giden annemin evin arkadaşım olan oğluna ve bana rastgele aldığı bu neşeli ve keyifli albüm, her seferinde içimi de burkar.. hiç bilmem gencecik kaybettiğimiz o güzel insan da sever miydi acep bu albümü, sormamıştım, üzerine geyik yapmamıştık.. onun hüzünlü anısını canlandırır, bombok hissettirir.. yine de henüz dinlenmediyse mutlak suretle dinlenmesi gerekir..
• uzun sekli ile dr. feelgood (love is a serious business) olan aretha franklin 'nin 1967 tarihli atlantic records'dan cikmis i never loved a man the way i love you albumunden muhtesem bir r&b klasigi parca. muzik ve sozlere teddy white ile beraber imza atmistir.
