• air france hava yollarına ait concorde tipi uçak paris'ten havalanırken sol motoru alev almış ve kalkıştan kısa bir süre sonra düşmesiyle 113 yolcunun tamamı hayatını kaybetmiştir. bu kazadan sonra concorde uçakları tartışma konusu olmuştur uzun süre ve nihayet 2003 yılında uçuşlarına son verilmişir.
