• 5 mayıs 1877 doğumlu amerikalı şair ve öykü yazarı. "american lumberman" de editörlük yaptı. ülkesinde ve dünyada "oduncuların şairi (lumberman's poet)" olarak bilinir. 2 temmuz 1938 de aramızdan ayrıldı. dilimize peleseng olmuş "herneysen en iyisi ol (be the best of whatever you are) " sözü onun aşağıdaki şiirinden gelmektedir.
