beklentilerimin epey üstünde olan lauren jauregui şarkısı. kendisinin ilk solo teklisinden böyle gitar ağırlıklı blues esintili bir r&b şarkısı değil de daha listelere oynayacak bir iş beklentisindeydim, olumlu anlamda şaşırttı beni. ayrıca fifth harmony'deyken dikkatimden kaçmış, lauren'ın çok güzel bir ses rengi var. şarkının sonlarına doğru nakaratta sesi hafiften çatlıyor falan, ayrı bir hava katmış kesinlikle.
yalnız yayınlanmasının üzerinden epey bir süre geçmesine rağmen billboard hot 100'a girememiş şarkı. bu durum hem şaşırtıcı hem değil. bu sound'da bir şarkının içinde bulunduğumuz yıl itibariyle liste başarısı göstermesi zor; fakat aynı zamanda her ne kadar lauren, solo olarak yeni bir isim olsa da eski grubundan gelen hatırı sayılır bir takipçi kitlesi vardı. bu genç takipçi kitlesi ya şarkıyla bağ kuramadı ya da müzik yayınlamak için beklediği süre hayranlarını diğer kızlara yönlendirdi. bakalım camila cabello'nun ilk single'larına** yaptığı gibi bu şarkıyı yok sayıp yeni ve daha piyasa bir sound'a mı kayacak kendisi yoksa seçtiği bu tarzda ilerlemeye devam mı edecek. -

demesi sebebiyle üzüle üzüle çok sevdiğim şarkı. bu dünyada doğru konuşan, güzel konuşan ne kadar çok insan var, umutlanıyorum sayelerinde. korkularından arınıp gerçekten dinlemeyi bilenlere ithafen... -
fifth harmony'de en az dikkatimi çeken kişi lauren jauregui idi lakin bu şarkı gerçekten iyi. kaldı ki bu tarz bi şarkı, klip ve tarz ile çıkması takdir edilesi. ayrıca klipteki dans sahnesi ile gönlümü fethetti.

ilk dinlemeye başladığımda beyonce söylüyor sanmıştım ilerleyen bölümlerde farklı olduğunu anladım. şarkı süper olmuş.

fifth harmony grubunun bana göre, fiziki anlamda en göz alıcı üyesiydi (bkz: lauren jauregui). grup dağıldıktan sonra ise yine grubun üyelerinden (bkz: camila cabello) oldukça parladı, diğer 2 üyeye ne oldu bilmiyorum bir de bu lauren kendi başına bir şeyler üretmeye çabaladı. o çalışmalardan birisi de bu expectations adlı şarkı idi. şahsen beğendim.

ayı gibi underrated şarkı. rihanna söyleseydi 200 milyon tık almıştı. ona da yakışıyor bu tip şarkılar. lauren jauregui olacak paçoz yılan ne güzel söz yazıyormuş dedirtti.
