• flamingo'nun en dikkat çekici parçası. brandon flowers bu şarkı dışında tek bir şarkı yapmasaymş bile şimdi olduğu yere gelebilirmiş hatta. başı, sonu, ortası ayrı ayrı çok güzel, birlikte daha güzel.
• bu şarkının nakarattan önceki köprü kısmında paula seling'in söylediği "uh, boy, till you drop" kısmı inanılmaz bir biçimde seksi gelmektedir kulağa:

  yani tabii en iyi derken, en birinci olacak anlamında. yoksa what for'dan geçmem, ölürüm de başkasını sevmem.
  
  edit: maalesef bu sene daha iyisini almanya yaptı. ama gene de sözü edilecek bi şarkı bu.
• çok sevdiğim tess'ciğim bu kitabı rizzoli & isles serisi haricinde yazmış. genel olarak yorumlar iyiydi, bir de fazla kalın bir kitap olmayınca hemen yumuldum, ama nihayetinde açıkçası ben genel olarak beğenmedim.
  
  artık yahudi soykırımından bahsetmeyeni dövüyorlar herhalde. o kadar çok izledik ve okuduk ki artık bu yazılanlar bende olması gereken etkiyi yaratmıyor. hele günümüz israil devletinin insan hayatına nasıl bir açıdan baktığını görüyorken. neyse, bu benim fikrim tabi, tess gerritsen de olayın italya boyutundan bahsederek olaya orijinallik katmaya çalışmış.
  
  normalde bir gün bunu söyleyeceğime inanmazdım ama bu gerilim romanındaki aşk hikayesi daha ilgi çekiciydi, ama o da kısıtlı bir bölümde geçiyor, sonrasında o konuyu da sulandırıyor zaten yazarımız.
  
  beni asıl bu kitap hakkında yazmaya iten neden müzik oldu. müzik kitapta önemli bir yer tutuyor, zaten olaylar kitapta yer alan incendio (isp. yangın) isimli bir parçanın, ekseninde gelişiyor. bunun ötesinde kitap bittikten sonra böyle bir parçanın gerçekten de var olduğunu ve şahsen tess gerritsen tarafından bestelediğini ve başta spotify olmak üzere tüm dijital ortamlarda dinlenebileceğini öğrenmek kitaptaki her yazılandan daha güzel bir etki yaratıyor. benim kitabı okurken hayal ettiğim kadar değil ama yine de güzel bir parça olmuş. insan "ne yetenekler var" diyor:
