  evet, büyük savaş ve bale. bir arada hiç düşünemeyeceğim iki olgu. ama işte elin ingilizi düşünmüş, yapmış ve gayet de iyi altından kalkmış. spoiler vermek zaten güç. anlatması da. savaşın farklı aşamalarını dansla ifade etmişler. bazı bölümlerde aklım durdu, sadece seyredebildim.
  
  royal ballet'den ayrılıp kendi dans kumpanyaları balletboyz'u kuran iki ortağın prodüksiyonuymuş. önce bir sahne gösterisi olarak tasarlamışlar. sonra savaşın yüzüncü yıldönümünün resmi kutlamaları için aldıkları sipariş üzerine yeni ve özgün bir müzik besteletip filme dönüştürmüşler. sahnede asla yaratılamayacak tablolarla örülü bir küsur saatlik bir film. insan bedeninden kopmuş parçalar, kan gölleri gibi savaşın ayrılmaz parçaları hiçbir sahnede görünmese de, savaşın dehşetini gayet güzel yansıtıyor. balletboyz ilk yıllarında kadrosunda kadın bulundurmayan ve erkek bedenini öne çıkaran yapımlarla adını duyurmuş, ama bu film bambaşka sularda geziniyor.
