  bob dylan efendinin 1975 tarihli efsaneler efsanesi, şaheser albümü blood on the tracks'ten hüzünlü bir bulma, yaşama ve yitirme baladı. bir one night stand'in kişinin hayatında neler değiştirebileceğini, nasıl kepaze edebileceğini anlatagelir. şarkı konserlerde sıkca çalınan bir şarkıdır ve dylan'ın belli başlı dönemlerinde farklı tonlarda farklı sözlerle çalınagelmiştir, hatta ötesi albüm çıktıktan sonra birkaç ay sonra başlayan rolling thunder revue'da bile albümdeki gibi söylenmemiştir, zaten hiç bir konserde albümdeki gibi söylenmemiştir o ayrı.
