  bu kitabın yarısında bir yerlerde madenciler göçük altına kalıyorlardı. bir mum yanıyordu ortada. madencilerden genç olanı, babasına "haftaya futbol maçına çıkabilirim değil mi?" diye soruyordu 2-3 dakikada bir. bir ümit okuduğun her kelimeden medet umuyordun, kurtulurlar belki diye. ancak bölüm sonunda mum sönüyordu.

  kitabın devamını hiç okuyamamıştım. 15-16 yaşındaki bir bünyeye fazla gelmişti. sonrasında da kitabı her elime aldığımda okuyabildiğim tek bölüm, o bölüm olmuştu.
