• afrikalı amerikalı efsanevi rap yıldızı tupac shakur'un 1996 tarihli 4. stüdyo albümü ve bu albüme ismini veren şarkı. 13 şubat 1996'da çıkan albüm, ilk haftasında yaklaşık 566.000 kopya satmıştır. albüm, yayınlanmasından tam 7 ay sonra, 13 eylül'de ölen 2pac'ın yaşarken çıkan son albümüdür. çoğu tarafından 2pac'ın "magnum opus"u olarak kabul edilen albüm, hiphop tarihindeki ilk çift diskli albüm olmasıyla da müzik sektörünün en etkili albümlerinden biri olmuştur. albüm, genellikle 90'lar rap müziğinde en parlak başarılardan biri olarak görülür. riaa'ya göre, albüm, tüm zamanların en çok satan rap albümlerinden biridir ve nisan 1996 itibariyle sadece abd'de 5 milyon satmıştır. haziran 1998'de ise yine riaa tarafından 9x platin olarak belgelendirilmiştir. all eyez on me, death row records ceosu suge knight'ın, death row'la anlaşması karşılığında 2pac'ın kefaletini ödeyip hapisten çıkarmasından sonra yayınlandı. hapisten çıkar çıkmaz soluğu stüdyoda alan 2pac, sadece 2 hafta içinde albümün yapımını tamamladı. adeta bir “güç gösterisi” olan albüm çift disk olduğundan, 2pac, üç albümlük anlaşmasının iki albümünü yapmış sayıldı. albümdeki şarkılar genellikle “thug life"'ı (serseri yaşam tarzı) kutlar ve savunur havadadır. nadiren eski ve yeni arkadaşlarla ilgili anımsamalar bulunsa da, albüm, 2pacalypse now'ın sosyal ve politik bilincinden kesinlikle uzaktır. snoop dogg'la birlikte yaptıkları hit şarkı "2 of amerikaz most wanted" için, 2pac, bir röportajında, bu şarkının batı yakası'nın (west side) marşı olacağını söylemiştir. 2pac'ın albümde düet yaptığı şarkıcılar arasında eski thug life üyeleri the outlawz, snoop dogg, dr. dre ve george clinton vardır. "heartz of men" şarkısında richard pryor'ın komedi albümü "that nigger's crazy"dan örneklemeler kullanılmıştır. çoğunun yapımcılığını johnny j ve daz dillinger'ın yaptığı albümde, california love ve "can't c me" şarkıları dr. dre işidir. 9x platin olarak belgelendirilen albüm, greatest hits albümüyle birlikte 2pac'ın en çok satan albümüdür. 2008'de me against the world ile bu albümü değerlendiren `the national association of recording merchandisersverock and roll hall of fame`, iki albümü de müzik endüstrisindeki en nüfuzlu albümler olarak kabul ederek definitive 200 listesine dahil etmiştir. albümün 2. cd'sinde 10. sırada yer alan albüme adını veren şarkı ise, tupac'ın bestelediği ve sözleri de kendisine ait olan güzel bir rap senfonisidir. şarkıyı, tupac, big syke'la beraber seslendirmektedir. sözleri şöyledir;
