• pearl jam'imizin 10.albümü lightning bolt'tan çıkmış ilk single. ilk dinlemeler sonucu fena olmamış diyebiliriz. alıştığımız tarzda bir pearl jam şarkısı. fakat güzel olmuş. umutla bekliyoruz yeni albüm lightning bolt'u.
  
  edit : bir kaç kere daha dinlemeden sonra yorumum şudur. bu şarkıyı vs, vitalogy, yield hangisine koyarsan koy sırıtmaz. öyle bir şarkı.
• valla pissed gazladığında ufaktan kıllanmıştım "acaba bu sefer?" şeklinde ama adam haklı çıktı; bu şarkı çok gaz be dostum!
• pearl jam'in 10. stüdyo albümünün muhtemel açılış parçası. güzel bir punk şarkısı ama açıkçası farklı bir şeyler bekliyordum. şarkı once tadında bir ritimde başlayıp bir anda son 4 albümdeki punk sounduna hızlı bir geçiş yapıyor. bridge ve solo kısımları st ve backspacer'daki punk şarkılara kıyasla melodik açıdan daha oturmuş bir çizgide. yine de "farklı bir şeyler olacak" beklentilerinin açığa çıktığı bir dönem için hatalı bir single tercihi olduğunu düşünüyorum.
• sıkı bir pj fanı olarak tam beğenemediğim parça. kabul ediyorum bazı yerleri insanı bağlıyor ama sound olarak sanki benim beklediğim pj çizgisinden biraz uzakta gibi. yani punk desen punk değil, hani misal lukin de bu tadda ama daha grungevariydi, bu tam arada bir garip olmuş. ne bileyim çözemedim. çok da heyecanlanmıştım. abi ben yield tadında bir albüm bekliyordum açıkçası, döneceklerse oraya dönseler ne güzel olur. çok karışık kafam, 94 gün var zaten :/
• bu şarkı için çıkmadan önce "spin the black circle tadında" benzetmesi yapılıyordu, ben de beklentimi o yönde kurdum. pearl jam'in son dönemde yaptığı comatose / supersonic çizgisinde şarkılardan biri gibi olacak diye düşünmüştüm, öyle de oldu. bence onlar arasında en oturmuşu, en melodik olanı olmuş. albümün geri kalanını çok bağlamaz diye düşünüyorum, kaç albümdür bu tür bir punk şarkısı koyuyorlar, hatta bir gösterge olacaksa bence iyi yönde olur, zira dediğim gibi onların arasında bence en iyisi.
  
  hatta izninizle birşey söyeleceğim, bence stbc'dan da iyi bu şarkı. asla bir vitalogy fanatiği olmadım, stbc da ilk dönem pj gaz şarkıları arasında en az sevdiğim olabilir, bu şarkı ondan daha iyi geliyor benim kulağıma. ama bir whipping, bir brain of j değil.
