  şeklindedir. aslında şarkıyı inceleyince anlatılan tarihi olaya ya da belgelere özellikle romen tarihçilerin anlatımlarına uyduğu görülür. şarkıda sultan muhammet diye geçen fatih sultan mehmedin 1462 eflak seferini anlatır. daha önce bir akıncı birliğini giurgiu da yenen, ondan evvel fatihin gönderdiği biri rum biri türk iki kişilik osmanlı heyetini kazığa oturtan voyvoda kuzey bulgaristana yağma seferi düzenleyerek 24 bin civarında bulgar müslümanını (pomak?) öldürür. düzenli osmanlı ordusu karşısında tutunamayağını anlayınca geri çekilir. bu çekiliş esnasında ülkesinde ne kadar cüzzamlı varsa salar ve osmanlı askerlerine saldırmalarını ve hastalık bulaştırmalarını emreder. fakat fatihin takibinden kurtulamayınca son şans olarak ordusundaki elit birliklerin başına geçip fatihin ordugahına gece baskını düzenler. hazırlıksız yakalanan osmanlılar çok kayıp verse de saldırıyı püskürtürler. kaçan voyvoda geçtiği yerlerde insanları kazığa oturtur. bu olayı gören osmanlı askerleri adeta çıldırarak sağa sola saldırmaya başlar . orduda düzen kalmadığı ve çok kayıp verildiği için fatih sultan mehmet geri döner.
