• benim de en sevdiğim, en iyi pj harvey albümü. 2001 istanbul konserinde bu albümden bir tek the sky lit up'ı çalmış olması çok büyük hayal kırıklığı uyandırmıştı bende. albümün en iyi parçası ise the river olsa gerek.
• ağır ve ziftli bir albüm. kanrırıken dinlenip etkisi arttırılmalıdır. zehirler.
• kapak tasarımı müthiştir.
• pj harvey'nin kendisine ait olan en sevdiği albümü. iki en büyük satış başarısının arasında kaldığı için içindeki karakterleri gibi pek gün yüzü görmedi bu şaheser. geçemeyeceği bir zirve sanırsam.
