• gul gecidi; her yil 1 ocak'ta pasadena'da duzenlenen, dunya barisi, cevre kirliligi vs. gibi konulari olan ciceklerle suslenmis devasa el yapimi arabalardan olusan bu yil 113. yapilmis gelenksel gecit toreni. genellikle sabahin korunde baslayip oglene kadar surer bu yuzden yilbasi gecesinde ickiyi fazla kaciranlara gore degildir. alisildigi uzere kralicesi prensesleri falan vardir, lise ve universitelerden kizlar bu gruba dahil olmak uzere aylar onceden elemelere katilirlar. son yillarda baska ulkelerden de gecit torenine katilanlar olmaya baslamistir. hemen arkasindan meshur rose bowl'da futbol finali oynanir. kisacasi pasadena kalkinir.
