  i hereby protest the approach of the company operating under the brand name of cnn in turkey during the recent events in turkey.
  
  as you may know, recently, there have been heavy demonstrations in istanbul, as well as numerous other locations in turkey against the turkish government. there have been heavy clashes between the turkish police forces and the demonstrants.
  
  while even cnn international, thousands of miles away, has been reporting about the events, cnn turk, in solidarity with the current government, preferred broadcasting as if nothing was happening.
