• 10 aylık takvimde 7. aya tekabül ettiği için 7. ay anlamına gelen "september" şeklinde adlandırıldığı halde, ay sayısı 12'ye çıkarıldıktan sonra adı 9. ay anlamına gelene "november" olması gerekirken aynı kalmış, latin milletlerini çelişkilere gark etmiş aylardan biridir.
