• rolling stones'un 1966 tarihli aftermath albümünden bir şarkı. 1967 tarihli flowers albümünde de vardır. şarkıdaki klavsen ve gitar düeti genel rolling stones tavrıyla az buçuk tezat oluştursa da yine de mühtiştir. insanda doğa ile başbaşa kalmış da şelale altında yıkanıyormuş etkisi yapar bu şarkının atmosferi.
• bu şarkıda zihinsel özürlü bir kıza tecavüz eden adam vardır. "are you smiling or afraid? you can have it either way." kısmını da bunu desteklemek için kullanıyorum. küçük kızlar dışarıda "lady jany la la lo" gibisinden şarkı söylerken adamımız da bunu ufaktan fısıldamaktadır, dikkat edenler duyacaktır.

  unutmadan ekliyeyim, promised land albümü queensryche'ın politik olmayan ilk albümüdür. kişisel şarkılardan ve hayat tecrübelerinden ilham alınarak yazılmıştır şarkılar. yani lady jane'den politik mesaj çıkarsa günün birinde ben de dişimi kırarım.
