• arthur andersen'in bir zamanlar enron'dan sorumlu partner'i, auditor. gecen nisan ayinda ciktigi mahkemede asagidaki sozlerle belgeleri denetimden kacirmak icin yok ettigini, tum sorumlulugun kendine ait oldugunu belirtmis kisi. skandal ortaya cikmadan bir sure once isten cikarilmasina ragmen olayin genisligi saklanamamis, kimse sucun tek bir kisiye ait olduguna zaten hicbir zaman inanmamis, sonuc olarak bir zamanlarin devi tarihin derinliklerine gomulmustur.. ve iste auditing mesleginin tarihindeki en carpici sozler:
  
  “on oct. 23, i instructed local people at arthur andersen to begin destroying documents, with the knowledge and intent that those documents would be unavailable to the sec and others. i also personally destroyed such documents and knew they would be unavailable to the sec. i accept that my conduct violated federal criminal law and am fully responsible."
