zaman:2002, yer: roma, interrail sirasinda tanisilan alman bir cocukla -ki adi john boy'du- muhabbet edilmektedir. ingilizce yazmak zorundayim yoksa bir manasi yok.
john: i like doner a lot. so how can i say "i want one doner" in turkish?
ben: you should say "bir doner istiyorum".
john: can you write it here, so i can spell.
(kagida once turkce olarak "bir doner istiyorum" yazarim. cocuk duzgun telaffuz edemeyince, o okunusu veren ingilizce kelimlerle anlatmaya calisirim)
-"beer doner is tea your um"-
john: biir doner iz-tii-yor-um.. that's it?
ben: yep.
john: cool.. but you know, when i go to turkish restaurants in berlin, the turkish guys always use some words like "be" and "ulan". what does "ulan" mean?
ben (hadi buyrun): hmm.. "ulan" is a turkish lingo. it doesn't have an actual meaning but it adds a more serious feel to the sentence. like, "gel" means "come" in turkish; but if you say "gel ulan", it's more serious like "come here right now" or something.
john: hmm ok. what about "be"?
ben: not the same thing but similar.
john (aha burası): ok then.. so when i go to the restaurant, i'm gonna say "ulan biir doner iztiiyorum be"
ben: hahahaha!
john: ??
