  cobain hayranları tarafından nefret edilen bir kadın courtney love hiç şüphesiz fakat ben kendisinden nefret edemiyorum. nedense cobain sonrası bir yanı hep eksik kalmış, koskoca bir enkazı andırıyor bana bu kadının ruhu. hani filmlerde kahramanın yıllar sonra odalarında anılarını gördüğü, bir zamanlar acısıyla tatlısıyla sevdiklerinin seslerinin yankılandığı o metruk aile yadigarı evler vardır ya, işte bu kadının ruhu tam da bu evler gibi olmalı. bu da yer yer insanın içini burkan şeyleri şarkılarına dökmesine aracılık ediyor. mesela pacific coast highway şarkısındaki "i knew a boy who came from the sea" dizesindeki denizden gelen çocuk kurt cobain. cobain balık burcu olduğu için böyle tanımlamış onu love. gerçekten dinlerken o hüznü hissediyor insan; bir insanın bir daha asla geri dönmeyecek olduğunu bildiğiniz zaman hissettiğiniz o derin hüznü...
