• güney koreli yönetmen.1982 yılında seoul film kolektivini kurarak güney kore de bağımsız sinema akımını başlattı.o zamana kadar güney kore nin baskıcı hükümetleri yüzünden basit melodramalar çekiliyordu sadece ve park kwang-su bunu değiştirdi. ilk filmi "chil-su ile man-su" kore sinemasına realizmi getirmiştir.
