  foc edits started out in late 2010 by kaan düzarat and mehmet koryürek (aksak - mr. pink) in istanbul. the idea was to edit and rework some tracks that they've enjoyed listening but were not necessarily able to play out and dance to at all. the first track was a love song by özdemir erdoğan called aç kapıyı gir içeri. the edit was so successful both domestically and internationally the duo kept working (or focing) tracks as they deemed appropriate.
  
  along the way the project got new members and collaborations with the househeads of istanbul, ali çetinkaya (ave astra), anıl devran, emrah arslan (fattish), eren eren, doğu çivicik and osman başaran (kozmonot).
  
  founding duo (kaan and mehmet) have a diverse background of music ranging from jazz to rock, classical to hip hop, reggae to ambient, turkish folk to blues and have been heavily influenced by detroit and berlin sounds of the last five decades. with such heavy influences the duo followed their hearts and got their hands dirty with focing away.
  
  the team is currently developing a flavor of cuts live project as well as focing new tracks while keeping up djing, radio programming for dinamo and working on their other personal projects.¨
