• place vendome projesinin kaldığı yerden devam ettiği şahane albüm. dinleyip de "michael kiske rulaz ulan!" demeyeni dövüyorlarmış.
• daha albümün yarısını dinledim ama bu yıl baya bi dinlettirecek gibi duruyor kendini. aslında 20 şubat çıkış tarihli ama emule sen çok yaşa! ^*
• ayrıca final fight oyununun hikayesinin esinlenildiği filmdir. hikayenin yanı sıra başta ana karakter cody olmak üzere bazı karakterler filmden alınmış ya da filmdeki karakterlerden esinlenilerek yapılmıştır.
• bruce springsteen'in darkness on the edge of town albümde yer alan, the boss'un kariyerinin en iyi gitar sololarından birine sahip şarkısı. sözlerini de yazayım tam olsun;

• bir çoklarının "hagar" olarak bildiği final fight isimli efsane arcade oyununa ilham kaynağı olan 1984 yapımı film.
• diane lane'in akıl almaz derecede güzel göründüğü 50'lerde geçen ama buram buram 80'ler kokan film. tam bir "style over substance" filmi. zaten prodüktör joel silver da filmin senaryosunu beğenmeyen jim steinman'a şöyle buyurmuş:
  "this movie is about visuals. it's about excitement, it's about thrills... don't worry about the script... the script doesn't matter."^*
  tabii ki sadece göze değil, aynı zamanda kulağa da hitap eden bir film, çünkü müzikleri muhteşem. özellikle jim steinman'ın film için yazıp bestelediği ve diana lane'in karakterinin söylediği^* iki tane şarkı var ki ne zaman dinleseniz ortalık alev alır:

  nowhere fast
  
  ancak tüm bunlara rağmen film gişede çakılmıştır ve normalde bir üçlemenin ilk filmi olacakken tek filmi olarak kalmıştır.
  günümüzde, diğer walter hill filmleri gibi bu film de hakettiği ilgiyi henüz görememiştir. kendisinin daha fazla ilgiyi hak eden diğer filmleri için:
