  • 2003 yılında ideatrophy adlı unilever'in düzenlediği proje yarışmasında tıpkısının aynısının daha sevimli ve bağımlılık yaratıcı halinin msn ve icq protokolüne de bağlanan, kıyafet vs. için paraları şişe kapaklarının altından çıkan versyonunun projesini yazarak sunduğum ama sıralamaya bile giremediğim uygulama. o zamanlar üniversitenin 1. sınıfındaydık. bi dinleseler yahu adamı !

    işin kötüsü oturup düşünüp yarışmaya katıldıktan sonra dereceye giremesek bile birisinin kalkıp "şu yüzden giremediniz, şu şu puanları aldınız " demesini beklerdik. o günden beri proje-fikir yarışmalarına iyi gözle bakmıyorum.

    peki iyi bir proje mi? açıkcası şu an için biraz geç kalmış, heyecanı olmayan bir proje. ama zamanında iyi olabilirdi.

    edit2: kafadan sallamış olmamak için yarışmaya gönderdiğimiz metni buldum. ne yazık ki ingilizce. --spoiler-- yazdığım yerler projeyle birebir aynı olan noktalar. en altındaki result kısmı iyi bir özet. şimdi okuyunca içinde hatalar bulabiliyorum tabii ama aradan neredeyse 4 sene geçti. o yaşta bu hatalar normaldi beah. amaaaan koyiim ice tea ye.

    edit3: daha o zamanlar society kelimesi bu kadar degerli degil. yonja bile çıkmamıştı sanırım. insanlar yabancı arkadaşlık sitelerini yeni keşfediyorlardı.

    1- creating a virtual dog software in the shape of ice-tea dog.(logo) which has needs and is also a communication device and will create a society.

    -- what is your objective? --

    advertise ice tea word-wide and creating addicted, long-term costumers by creating a virtual society

    -- what is in it for lipton ice tea? --

    ice tea will have the chance to advertise internationally its product for a long time with a cheap software and sell products

    -- summarize your project --

    develop a virtual dog "living" in the user's desktop, with these features:

    * instant messaging with other dogs: the dog will have a contact list and info namely “character of dog” similar to “icq”. you can search other dogs according to their characters.

    * face-to-face chat: when a dog chats with another dog, the customized dogs (with clothes etc.) come together in the screen of each user, and will have conversation with also body language. (hugging each other etc.) and this will create a virtual world.

    *customization: the dogs will use “credit” in their life for things like buying, cloths or trading stuff. in the box of ice tea products, there will be a code which will give credits or surprises. (you will enter it to the website)

    * needs: drinking (virtual ice tea), social (chatting with virtual dogs), health-care.

    * web interaction: through a site structured like a city, providing services related to the virtual dogs and creating a virtual and addictive society.

    *age: the dogs will get older and stronger as long as you take credits

    1- contacting developers for both the software and the web site.

    2- developing both site and software

    3- beginning to print credit-codes on products for future selling.

    4 -maintaining the site and updating the software with user-requested features, selling products with credit-codes.

    key success factors

    they software can be very sucessful by creating a society and starting a new fashion. it is a good idea because

    1-nearly everybody uses messengers. if we make a software compatible with those messengers it gets easier to find costumers.

    2-ice tea’s target costumers are young people. this software will be cute and cool and young people will like it.

    3-the city (website) will include games etc. and shops. at that website you can see other dogs and their items (clothes etc.). you can buy those from them.

    4- a custumised face-to-face chat will bring use power of virtual world so, people will like it. this will start a fashion between young people.

    5- we will sell more ice tea’s by useing the “codes” on the boxes.

    6- people will want to improve their dogs, so they will use more credits.

    result

    as a result, we will create a new group of people who are addicted to those animals. the market in the “city” and between players will cause them to have more ice-tea’s because they want special items, or medicines which are sold expensively. user’s friends will bee in the contact list of this animal so they became a part of it. the dog is also cute and cool, so it will be a fashion. because the dog is the mascot of ice tea, this software is also an advertisement. in the future we might sell toys of dogs, or even make a cartoon. because it is a software distributed online, we can start this project at any place in the world. even if this software looks like it is connecting these dogs, in fact it's main purpose is to connect people.
