• yeni trivium albumu.
• 1-2 şarkı dışında trivium'un sıçıp batırdığı, ilk albümlerle alakası olmayan 57-60 dakikaya sığdırılmış 13 şarkı.
• ascendancy kadar guzel olmasada fena sayılmayan ama daha iyisi yapılabilirdi dedirten trivium albumu.metalcoredan çok heavy metal ağırlıklı olmuş ama hoş olmuş.
• %50 machine head, %30 metallica, %20 trivium bir albüm. benim açımdan beklentileri karşıladığını söylemek pek mümkün değil, sadece "şahane nakarat" bulmakla olmuyor bı işler.
• ben bu albümü aylar önce bir kere dinlemiş ve "bu ne lan" diyerek bir kenara atmıştım; şimdi tekrar dinlediğimde farkettim ki meğerse götümle dinlemişim, aklım bambaşka yerlerdeymiş, bu trivium albümü hiç de fena değilmiş.
  
  bazılarının ascendency'yi sevip bunu beğenmeyişinin sebebi the crusade'de ki thrash havası sanırım. hatta metalikanın master of puppets dönemini andırıyor biraz sound olarak. neticede itici gelmiş olabilir metalcorecu gençliğe...
  
  ayrıca albüme adını veren enstrümental şarkıda da bir dream theater havası yok değil, gayet güzel bir şarkı.
  
  onu andırıyor, bunun havası şunun suyu var dedik ama sağdan soldan çalma çırpma durumu gibi anlaşılmasın, neticede özgün bir albüm. gençler güzel gruplardan güzel albümlerden etkilenmişler, müziğe yansıtmışlar. klasik olacak bir albüm değil tabi ama yeni ve oldukça genç bir grup için gayet güzel bir albüm.

• albümün sonunda çekim hataları gibi duruyor. kullanmadıkları rifleri birbirine bağlayıp enstrumental yapmışlar sanki. yine de fena değil.
